An objective of an affiliate marketer is to identify a successful market that gives the biggest return on advertising investment.  There is no magic formula, just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.  That said, the tactics that continue to work in the online affiliate marketing business can be summarized as follows.

First, unique web pages should be used to promote each separate product or service.  A common mistake is to lump all of the offerings together just to save some money on web hosting.  It is most effective to devote a site to focus on one product and nothing more.

The site content should include product reviews to provide visitors with an initial understanding of the features and benefits of a given product or service.  Having testimonials from users of the product increases credibility, especially if these customers allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.
